Darrell and Simi Poe

We own and operate our kennel on a farm in southern Il. Our adult dogs get plenty of exercise on our 87 acres. Shelties love to round up the horses and cattle. And the poodles and yorkies look like little rabbits running in the fields. We have 17 indoor/outdoor heated runs for our dogs. 6 of those are just for expecting mommas in the nursery. I have raised puppies for 15 years. I started out very small for some income when we were raising our 2 children and I was a stay at home mom. Well the kids are gone and mom is still a stay at home mom with lots and lots of slobbery kisses and wet noses that love her. I absolutly love what I do. I really try to breed for personality and good genetics. I want everyones puppy to be healthy for alot of years to come. About 6 years ago I started pet grooming for the country folks that live around us. 1 year ago I started boarding for others in the area. We love to ride motorcycles in our spare time. Go to church and hang out in all the beautiful country that we live in. We are right next to the Shawnee national forest. So camping, hiking and walking on our bike path and in the state parks is wonderful when it's not real hot. We feel like we are on vacation all the time. And Yes the dogs get to go too. They all get to take turns just can't take everyone at the same time. My husband Darrell is a Barber and he also helps me groom on Wed.
